Base Layer Underlay Mattress – 2″ / 50mm

The Mattress Underlay is a highly cost effective underlay suitable for use within any care environment.
This innovative Mattress Underlay is designed to provide an even surface on a slated bed, it also provides a protective underlay in the event of deflation.
With its 50mm (2″) thickness the Mattress Underlay is designed to be positioned underneath an alternating pressure mattress to prevent any part of the mattress becoming entangled with the frame of the bed. Being only 50mm deep this underlay keeps the laying surface within the regulation 220mm to the top of the side rail.

As standard this Mattress Underlay comes supplied with a Polyurethane, Vapour permeable cover which can either be wiped clean or removed for cleaning.
